The meaning of a song is one of those things that can be hotly debated. But sometimes a song's meaning and even the reason for it's existence can be totally overlooked. That's the case with a secret protest song from 1961 that became the top song in the US. Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto has an amazing back story.
